Our trucking company received a fax from Tri Cities stating they could provide financing for new equipment. We did the paperwork and Shane Carwin said that $1,600 was needed to start the loan. We sent the check and it was cashed on friday 3/2/12. All of that day we could not contact Shane or anyone at this finance company via phone or email. My Husband mentioned this and i googled Tri Cities Finance. They are scammers. They have been reported at the Better Business Bureau and Scam.com We stopped payment on this check online that friday night and went to our bank on Monday to switch our accounts to a new one. We continued calling Tri Cities who thought they had our money in hand. No one responded. Monday nite this Shane called and said that he had been 'sick' and said he was processing the loan. SCAM!!!!! Do not do any business with Tri Cities Financing. Always check out a company before sending money!!! Trie Cities is also into insurance, student loanes and equipment leasing and has some affiliation with Texas Ranger, Inc. as they have the SAME mailing address!!! BEWARE OF BOTH!!!! Scammers!!!
