I did not go directly on to the Mystique website but to the Essence of Argan website. I ordered a free trial of Oil and it was recommended that I use this in conjunction with a product called 'Luminage', I was offered a free trial of both the Oil and the Luminage and I noticed that the Luminage was supplied by Mystique. I ordered these and was debited for both, at a cost of £5.99 sterling by Essence of Argan on 7 March. Also on 7 March I was debited again by Mystique for the Luninage. The Oil arrived which I returned immediately and I cancelled my 'subscription' (as they called it) when I read of the future debits which would automatically be made if I didn't cancel. However, the Luminage never arrived so I had no opportunity to cancel. Emails to Essence of Argan went unanswed except for automatic replies which did not answer my queries. On 22 March Mystique debited me with a further amount of £59.95 sterling without authorisation and no products have been received from them. My total loss is 100 US dollars. It is obvious that Mystique and Essence of Argan are in collusion over this scam since, as I said, I have never visited the Mystique website. I have cancelled my Barclays Connect Card to avoid further unauthorised debits by Mystique.
