I am filing on behalf of my elderly parents who are both on SS and Medicare. A fraudulent check was passed through their credit union payable to YR Benefits in the amount of $447.34. My mother went to the credit union and they replaced the money immediately but we will provide them with this additional information. I understand that over $1 billion dollars has been stolen from the elderly who are on social security and medicare.
