Received a call from Gold Readers Club on 1/21/12 to extend my order of Discover Magazine for 40 issues plus they will include 24 issues of Popular Science and 52 issues of ESPN and a free gas card worth $300.00 in a cash-back program. I asked how can you offer a $300.00 rebate on a $78.00 order and they stated that they had a special deal with a number of gas suppliers that allowed them to do this. Needless to say this is (what I should have realized) a big scam. After numerous calls and complaints I have not received any magazines or promised gas pass rewards certificate. Tried to cancel but they say "too late-passed the cancellation date." Please stay away from this outfit and let everyone you know to do likewise.
