Hello,

I'm sending this email do to a Ad I received in the mail today. Back in May 2012, I sent in a check to Consumer Reports in the amount of $44.00 for 26, Issues of Consumer Reports which would cover me until a little into 2015. Today, I received in the mail an AD that's offering 12 months of Consumer Reports for $1.00 a month for 12 months. My question is, when in my case does my Subscription start and when does it end. These AD's are both from Jamie Darnow Director, Publishing Dept.

  • I like many others I'm sure, by receiving so many AD's on a subscription you just ordered as I did, and a month later receive another subscription in the mail with another twist to the story. Your mail order house should have my name in the computer with my latest subscription (26 weeks for $44.00) etc. The ad I received today should read: Mr. ODonnell, thank you for your latest subscription to our offer of 26 weeks for $44.00. In addition, we would like to extend your subscription 12 months at a rate of $1.00 per month. Now, I know you received my origional order and your offering me an extension on that order. I'm surprised Consumer Reports don't have a better way to deal with their customers. Ed ODonnell
