On this date the special value of the day was the HP Touchpad and on easy pay. I had been seeking to buy a touchpad, so I ordered one. On August 18, 2011 HP announced to the media that they were killing the Touchpad. This did not happen overnight. HP had Touchpads they needed to sell before the announcement and QVC agreed to assist them. I have been dealing with QVC almost from day one and I am surprised they would take part in a SCAM or fraudulant activity of this nature. Our home is also full of HP electronic equiptment. I am also surprised that HP would defraud their customers in this manner. HP Touchpads are now priced as low as $149.00 or less.

- Did anyone force you to pay the 600 for the HP Touchpad? I don't think so, QVC is infamous for selling things at very inflated prices, just like Fingerhut, or BuyDirect. It wasn't a scam or conspiracy, QVC offered a product for a price they set, you purchased said product, It is not QVC's fault nor HP that the price went down after you bought said product. This is just how retail works. See if you can return the item, if not Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware.
