I recieved a phone call supposedly from Microsoft tech support that said my computer had thousands of viruses and they needed access to clear out viruses.
I stupidly gave them several hours while I was out to do this. Then they called me back later and gave me an address to send a check to for $131.00.
A friend gave me a copy of an email about this being a scam.
I checked my bank account last night and nothing had happened. I'm going to the back today to let them know about this.
What else should I do now? Your help with this would be appreciated.
