Purchased a $1200 Maytag front load washer from Lowe's in Stillwater MN with the sales associate stating how dependable Maytag's were. The bearings failed in 2.5 years with minimal usage and were told the repairs cost more than the machine did new. Maytag and Lowe' told us tough luck sucker. We are now learning there is huge bearing failure of Maytag washers in less then 2 years. Very high end appliances that to not last and are being misrepresented intentionally by retailers and Maytag
