They telephoned me identifing themselves as representatives of Microsoft office.

They told me I had a lot of viruses on my computer which was resulting in them getting over 2500 alerts from my computer.

They then asked permission to clean up my computer, which I agreed to.

But after they "completed cleaning" up my computer they then asked for money promising to upgrade my windows operating system (windows XP)as well as my existing software, including a new virus detection software and they would continue to provide service to me for the rest of my life.

I agreed but after they where "finished" I noticed there were no improvements on my computer (it still ran very slow and I had no software etc...updates).

I called them back the next day (19Tue13) and they said that my connection was bad so they couldn't do the job. They promised in two hours they would complete the job now. But another day passed (20Wed13) I checked and nothing had been done so I called them again to which they said my connection was back and I had to wait another day for them to fix it. At this point I demanded my money back, and after an exhausting argument with them they said they would fix the problem or return my money but ONLY if I waited another day (they will telephone me). I gave in.... I know they're stalling and lying and I doubt I will hear from them again.... Please warn others.
