Had a Representative from said company tell me that reliance was going out of business and they had to remove my hot water heater and switch it with theirs because they were taking over reliance's contracts! Tricked me into a 5 year contract with a 1100 dollar buy out, they also said they would take care of canceling with reliance, which i have since had to spend 4 hours on the phone between the two companies to get this issue resolved, which still is unresolved!

Hi Matt, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with National Home SERVICES. However, you have posted a complaint against the wrong company. National Home Comfort is a local company based in Toronto. We DO NOT rent water tanks, or use door to door sales tactics. Belive me, we are incredibly frustrated with National Home Serices, as due to our names being similar, have been mistaken for them in the past (we are at the point where we ae contemplating a name change!) But again, we have no affliliation with the compnay you have an issue with.
You will find other complaints on this site against "National Home Services". Please redirect your complaint to them...hopefully it will make a difference.
Again, National Home Comfort has no connection or asscocaition with National Home Services.
