Our son found them through www.athleticscholarships.net - but I later found out that they also run www.collegesportsscholarships.com - essentially there is a TON of internet marketing making them look great. And so is their sales pitch. But the level of knowledge they have about my son's sport is next to nothing. The head of all water sports - diving, swimming, rowing, you name it - is a former water polo player. They didn't even recruit for any of the major sports at a university. Regardless, these guys did what they needed to to get us in the door - only after to find that he had no chance given his talent level and they have no connection to any college coaches in our sport. I learned this by talking to a few coaches at a camp he recently attended, who basically told me that they weren't welcome in the sport.
