Custom Wreckers is the biggest towing scam in all of NYC. The coerce managers of businesses to take kick backs in order to conduct their illegitimate business in their parking lots. After they tow a car they unlawfully demand over $200 in cash, and its cash not credit card payment like they are supposed to do. They bribe the owners and or managers of businesses to put up their signs and to allow spotters to hang out all day in their parking lots and offer them gratuities in return which is also against the law.
