International boundaries

Two points:
#1. On August 11th I placed an order for $128.86 US with SammyDress, paid an add'l $41.91 US for "expedited" shipping. the order didn't even *ship* until August 27th (16 days later). The items didn't arrive before I left for vacation as hoped. When I asked about this incredible delay in shipping, customer service was not truthful with the shipping date and/or SammyDresses' previous shipping commitment to ship in 2-7 days (the shipping details were fully documented with Fed-ex). I asked for a refund on the expedited shipping - the response was, "maybe a friend could the package."

#2. I received the items today, Sept 9th. They are similar in color to the photos posted to said clothing items on SammyDress.com; however, they are *not* the items pictured for items. For example, one dress is listed as "long-dress" and on the model the dress is to her ankles. I'm 5'6" and the dress that arrived doesn't come to my knees. It's a mini dress made of the same color fabric advertised online as a "long dress." Same with a "slim" fit jacket which arrived looking like a burlap sack. The cut and detail are completely different - although the primary color is the same as that which was advertised. The quality of all clothing items is very, very poor. I won't consider them for anything other than Halloween accessories for the future. Oh, and I was charged 3.37 US for insurance on this order.

The non-clothing times (belts and hair accessories) were still of very low quality but looking more similar to photos online.

As a business woman, I'm disappointed with myself that I didn't check the BBB prior to ordering...but I want to warn other women to avoid SammyDress.com - they're ethics are poor, customer service is deplorable, and I've never seen clothing quality so low. The text book definition of false advertising.

Local Thrift Stores have never let me down - I'm sticking with them ;-)
