This complaint is against Casiteki.com just as many other on this website. I am reposting this complaint to clarify this point.
Same thing as most other complaints. I ordered a computer for $790 and was asked to buy a gift certificate from Amazon and send it to Casiteki, which I did. Received order confirmation on 10/18, then shipping confirmation on 10/21, announcing arrival of order 10/27-28. When nothing came, I inquired but no answer to this day, nor any shipment.
I am trying to get my money back. My credit card company can't do a charge-back from Amazon since the gift card was properly delivered to me. Amazon's warranty does not apply since I made the transfer of the gift card to Casiteki outside of Amazon's website. A very clever setup!! However, I explained to Amazon that since their name comes up all the time in these complaints here, it will hurt their reputation. Amazon's investigation team is now trying to get the money back for me. I was told to wait about two weeks and get back with Amazon if Casiteki has not send any money back. Also, I emailed Casiteki customer service person "Vanessa Moore" directly, telling her to send my money back ASAP. I shall see what happens.
How can such a nasty company be prevented from operating?? There is got to be something more to be done than making individual complaints!! Can we all work together and get some legal action going??
