To whom it may concern,

I am writing to raise your awareness about a company called Repairs4 that I believe has been scamming customers over the last few months. This company has left me and many others furious with the way we have been treated.

After seeing Repairs4’s website which seemed very professional and legitimate I sent my IPad 2 off to the company and paid £60 plus delivery charges for a screen repair. The website promised that I would receive my device back within 5 working days but after almost 6 weeks of false promises I realised that it wasn’t going to be repaired and I requested that the device be returned to me. I was in contact with a certain Nadine Williams of the ‘customer service’ team for the period of time where she stated that ‘parts were being ordered’ and they were ‘let down by their suppliers.’ This is a common theme with many customers and their reviews can be found at:

I received my IPad back in the same condition but have still not been reimbursed for the money I have already given Repairs4. I have sent many emails charging compensation for the inconvenience and wish to seek legal advice to obtain my money. Unfortunately I do not think much can be done to obtain this money as the company has stated that it has ceased trading as of 6th January 2014: http://www.repairs4.com/

I do however wish to expose the people behind Repairs4 so they cannot open under another name and do the same to other people. They will quite happily take people’s money and not give a thought about how it affects them when the service is not fulfilled.
