I bought my ticket for the sold out show in ATL when it went on sale in the Summer. I wanted seats for friends in my section and I saw this listing, saying she had 6 hard copy tickets in hand and needed them sold. I thought, great, no scam here and since I live in the area I can confirm authenticity. I asked if he or she was in the area or could send me a copy of the receipt of purchase. Then she said she was at the airport, was a flight attendant and got the tickets with her colleagues as employee of the month and flights got changed. Of course, now my question was, how do we do the transaction and secure the authencity. Mind you, at this point I'm a lil weary because my questions on proof of authencity weren't answered, but countered with other comments. She said there was a $69 fee to ship them overnight, linked me to DPD site and there was a buyer protection, seller protection page. Now when I was "billed" by DPD and had to follow instructions after the Western Union bit, I replied with the necessary info and Yahoo made me authenticate myself at the Send page (red flag). Again, I searched DPD on google to be sure and saw that it had bad and good reviews, was international with airmail etc So I believed it. I wired $300 + $29 fee for tickets, and I sent an email again to customer service when they didn't arrive this morning. Now I googled "DPD email scam" and found a similar complaint here, so I guess I've been scammed. Fantastic.
