I called the number and was greeted warmly, though I had several questions that took the lady by surprise:
Who sent the annuity notice? "we did, we are a scheduling service for local insurance and annuity agents"
Who did you send it on behalf of? I can not reveal that information unless you are willing to set an appointment.
While not technically a 'SCAM' this is a service that trolls for unsuspecting contract holders. It also seems that they troll seniors as she reported the name of the appointment setting firm as "Senior Resources".
I would be very wary of any information received from this source.... a little smelly.
