"Max" from this company called and said "foreign" parties were trying to hack into my Windows computer, said that the information was showing up on their server. He wanted me to go to their website and he could show me. However, I do not have a Windows computer, so how could their server be getting messages from it? He said he knew it was my computer because they had my IP address on file – 999.99.999.9. That sounds like a made-up number and was not my IP address when I did have a PC years ago, one that no longer functions.
