On 16th of October i purchased a Sumsung TV . i was going to use it with head phones that is why i specifically asked the sales person if i could use it in that mode. He answered positively. it turned out that the volume of the sound on headphones was so law that to hear something you would push the headphones close to the ears with both hands.
I tried different things, none worked. Then I asked Sears to replace with a different TV meeting my requirements. Sears said no TV would work thwe way I asked for. I pointed that the specs specifically mention that TV can operate comfortably the way I asked for.
Then Sears suggested that I should buy a wireless set of headphones which I refused because they are expensive and inconvenient in use: heavy and bulky. Then Sears came up with another idea: to buy an amplifier and use it with TV. (the price of an amplifier they suggested was about $200!).
Eventually I asked to take the TV back to which they said it would cost me restocking fee about $60.
What should I do at this time?
Last communications was with Joey Torres, Brand Central Manager, (Personal Info Removed)
Regards.
