In late July 2016 I responded to an online ad regarding 'cleaning up my computer'. I called about 1 computer and paid approximately $250 USD. After that deal was done, I succumbed to the sales pitch to also include 2 additional computers and was charged $335. USD. The costs included basic and 1 year unlimited support.
About a month later my PC still had the very same problems. I called their tech support and they did whatever they do by remote access.
Now it is 18Oct2016 and I receive an email that they are going to charge my CC $59.85 as an "automatic renewal". Further checking revealed that they had already billed that same amount in August and September 2016. These were charges on a CC that is very seldom used and therefor the monthly statement is usually just filed away. Never during my telephone call was there any mention of reoccurring monthly charges. At $59.85 per month X 12 mI had called for help in September". Their
It would appear that their 'clean up' consists of running a commercially available software program. The total fiscal damage for 1 year would have been $1303.20.
The entire Upclick seems to be fraudulent.
