I was on a news website (ninemsn.com I think) when I saw the ad for Revita Derm face cream and Perfect Radiance serum pop up for a trial of AU$2.95 each. Although realising the offer looked too good to be true, I thought what did I have to lose? If the products don’t work, it’s just a few bucks right? Wrong!!! AU$300+ so far it turns out and counting!!! At no time during the trial purchase was it made clear that this trial would be starting a monthly subscription. It is only after receiving my first credit card statement with the $75 + 79 charges for the two original trial products that I went back onto the RevitaDerm website to discover the miniature terms and conditions at the bottom of the page and learn about this once a month supply of each of the products. I emailed [email protected] and [email protected] on 6/12/11 asking for them to stop supplying me and received auto responses immediately. Then the next day I received another email from the support centre telling me that they had cancelled my subscription to RevitaDerm although I’m not sure if this has cancelled the Perfect Radiance serum, the terms on that product’s website only lists the international phone number (0011 1 855 843 3434 for Aus customers), which I have not yet phoned. This morning I received another Perfect Radiance which was apparently despatched from the UK on 1/12/11 (i.e. before I sent my emails) so I’m sure I have another Revita Derm arriving any day now as well. This is a nightmare as I have been charged over AU$300 for products I don’t want and cannot afford, especially at Christmas time. I’ve also had to cancel my credit card which is unbelievably inconvenient at this time of year, as I must wait a couple of weeks for a new one.

If we can work out how to return the products and be reimbursed, that would be great! I have not opened any of the products they all have their original seals on. How can we stop this company from tricking more people?
