I was online applying for a job interview for an office administrator about a week ago and then received a reply via email asking for my drivers license, SSN and...MY CREDIT SCORE. I asked myself "why do they need that information?" I then searched online and found this online scam report for this email from [email protected]:
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in the job opening. When would a good time for you to come in for an interview be? Please bring a printed copy of your resume (optional), a credit report from the link below and also bring in a valid driver's license or government issued ID. If you can't supply all of the above unfortunately we cannot proceed any further. Once you have everything prepared email me so we can setup an interview date and time.
