The complaint is against an online dating profile

The company places fake jobs on job boards. When you apply, they contact you as if they are the outsourced HR group for the company that posted the job listing.
Everything seems very forthright and legitimate. Then when you go to fill out the form online there is a link to get your credit file. They explain that it costs you nothing to do this. It seems they are using this method to keep their costs down.
You do it.
You reply to the email they sent you and it is not reachable.
I contacted the credit company www.creditreport.com. I reported the fraudulent actions. They apologized and said it is an affiliate marketer.
I have been charged nothing but I am not sure what information the scammers were able to get from me.
