Dear Sir/Madam,
On Sun. 22nd Jan. 2012 I went into the Five Star Electronics Store located at 918 Utica Ave. Brooklyn N.Y. 11203 to inquire of a VGA splitter where I met with a clerk by the name of Richardo who encouraged me to purchase a lap top computer which comes with a VGA outlet. He then showed me an Acer lap top with a price quote of $499.00; also a Panasonic twin cordless telephone. He went on to say that I will need the VGA connection wires to link with my TV. He had me fillout an credit application while he took out the items and bagged them. A while after he answered his phone and told me that my credit was approved. He wrote up a bill of sales while saying, "I am going to take you, don't worry". He then placed the bill of sales into one of the bags and I left the hurriedly because I had to travel very far on icy roads all the way to oakdale which is 51 miles from the store. But when I reached home and read the bill of sales he wrote I realized that all the prices he quoted me at the store were not mentioned, there was only a total figure which was $814.00 I called the store immediately and spoke with him whose answers made no sense. Today, I went pricing the items I got from Five Star Electronics at ''Best Buy'' & PC Richards and saw that I was taken, the prices I paid at Five Star Electronics were twice the prices at these other stores. I tried caling the store for an explanation and they hang the phone up on me.
Five Star Electronics phone # 718-639-3003 & Crown Electronics the mother store's phone # 718-856-2400. Tomorrow I am going to return all the items got from them on Sunday. I need your help desperately at this time before things get worse
