Since my husband thought this was part of our Mortgage, because they had the name of our mortgage company, and since we are retired and our income in a lot less we thought we would call, thinking it was our mortgage company. So I called and said we were not in danger of losing our home, but it would help if we could get a lower % on our loan. They said hold on and took our information and said yes we definitely would fit their program. We gave them the 1st payment of $990.00 and they wanted more in a few weeks. The called me and we complete the paper work on line, which included on line signature. They needed more information which I sent and then I got worried and this didn't seem right. So I said I wanted to cancel all after they got our 2010-2011 income tax fed. & CT W2's and other personal information. I wanted our money back. I called them several times asking for our money and to stop procedures. They said we were not suppose to contact our mortgage company under any circumstances. I got nervous and tried to check them on better business bureau and they were not on there. Today they promised to return our call always in 24 hrs. which never happened. I try to call and leave messages but no call back to me. They have our money and I have all of the info I gave them. Kept copies of everything. I don't know if this company is legal or not. Maybe someone can help us out. I closed out our checking account and put a stop payment on the next check that was for them.
