My wife talked to someone from National Bankcard Monitor on a random phone call to us, inquiring if we might be able to use their service. My wife said possibly.. send us some information, the person from national bankcard inquired.." can you give us a credit card number so we can verify that you have established credit". Unfortunately she gave it to the individual and they charged 1499.00 on the credit card and sent a letter to us on "how to eliminate personal debt". I didn't realize this had happen until I received a statement from the credit card company. Its been two months now and we haven't heard a word from this company.
