optus try to debit 50 from my account and the bendigo bank bounced it and charged me $40. firstly i did not give optus permission which they have since acknowledged. I went to optus to open a new account for a iphone, i signed up everything went through and i left with my new phone, 3 hours later i wasn't on so i went back and optus said they had lost my orignal account and that i would have to apply again, which i did, then apparently the first account that was supposed to be lost showed up so i had 2 accounts going, thats how they got to my bank account because the first account i was going to have direct debit, but when it was lost and i reapplied i decided i wouldn't do direct debit, optus has since debited 50 on to my ongoing account but won't have anything to do with the $40. that the bendigo bank charged me when they tried to debit my account with the first supposedly lost account. i am on a disabled pension and $40 means alot to me please tell me what i can do
