My Complaint is against Waterfront Property Management, 1137 Lamar St. Suite 872, Houston TX, 77002. (713)965-7236. The people at the company are Executive Director; David Barnett, Finance Director; Robert Giles, and Julie Long.

I was contacted by this company and solicited to sell my Timeshare in Cancu, Mexico at Royal Sunset Resort for the sum of $23,680.00. I had concerns and was given references to call that had dealings with this company that did result in a receipt of funds so thought it was safe to proceed. References that were provided to me were Robert Goodell, Frank Barley, and Marilyn Finch. Phone #'s available upon request.

They claimed that they had a buyer and would facilitate the transfer of my property and that the funds were in escrow. All I had to do was pay the Mexican State Tax of $3315.00 USD . On Oct 26, 2012 I did an EFT to a Mexican Bank the beneficiary on this account was Impact Living S.A. DE C.V. AVE. Insurgentes SUR 264 COL. ROMA. Bank account number is 84819620201. The Beneficiary Bank is Banco Del Bajio SA , Av. Heroes de Nacozarino. 786 Sur Bucerias Nayaritegeo.23.634501,-102.552784. International code 030578848196202010.

Next they came back to say that now the Mexican Government also required the Federal State Tax of $3789.00, and that because of this the buyer agreed to pay back all taxes incurred so that the total funds I would receive from escrow would be $30,84.00. I'm embarrassed to say I set up another EFT transaction for $3789.

Then they responded with an additional Escrow fee for $2999.00. At this point I no longer trusted in this and so requested a full refund. I have not received any information as to how to get the reimbursement and so am lodging this complaint.

I am convinced that this is a scam, and ask that you please investigate and put a stop to this crime. Please let me know of any information that you have that could help. Thank You
