My husband and I went to LBS Tax Services to have our taxes done because this was the first time I was filing as a small business owner. This was the biggest nightmare of our lives. We were told $75 to file and I was told the IRS was going to charge me $250 to file a 1099 as a small business owner. I asked this guy 4 or 5 times over and over again the amounts to just make sure. Not only did he lie to us about the amounts but he told us the IRS was giving us one amount back but when my husband received some student loan papers after we filed we learned we had to file an amendment so we were told to come back on April 15th and they would do those for us. Yeah right this place was liked a GHOST TOWN so we went to a real TAX PLACE and guess what we found out...

LBS TAX SERVICES lied about all kinds of stuff on our taxes...

1st, IRS does not charge $250 for a 1099
2nd, We actually got back more than they said and they took it for themselves. ($1060.00)
3rd, We never received certain papers from LBS so we had to contact the IRS to get them to even file an amendment.
4th, our TAXES are so screwed up even Jackson Hewett was scared to deal with this mess and it took them 2 days to figure out what LBS did.
5th, We are now not only out $1060.00 from LBS but we have to pay $600.00 to Jackson Hewett for trying to fix our taxes and we are still looking at getting an Audit
