This started from the deal under Travelsmoove that I purchased from Streetdeal in 2012. I tried to make the booking for a holiday and it was at that exact point when Travelsmoove was quietly going into liquidation. Only in early 2013 did I find out that the company had been liquidated and Streetdeal agreed to give a refund for all the customers that had been cheated in the form of 'Street Dollars'. A few weeks later, I am told that Streetdollars is for small values and mine had to be refunded in the form of a promo code which works like a credit. I waited more than 3 months for the promo code because Streetdeal kept telling me their IT department was facing some technical difficulty. When they finally resolved it, I tried to make a purchase of a deal and to my dismay, the full sum ($104 to be exact) was not offset. Streetdeal later informed me that one of their 'terms' states that the promo code can only be claimed 10% off any purchase and not the full sum each time. Moreover, I was once charged a $99 premium membership (like many others) without knowing. This sum was refunded to me in full thankfully. But until now, I cannot seem to get a proper refund from Streetdeal (now $46.40 balance) unless I make purchases and discount 10% off them. I honestly do not wish to have anymore dealings with Streetdeal as I believe the whole system is out to con their customers. It is completely unethical, inflexible and selfish the way they create unfair 'terms & conditions' that are out only to protect their own organisation but not their customers. The point here is I paid something that I did not get, so it only makes sense that I am fully refunded. Yet they have put me through so much just to get back that refund and prolong a 'relationship' that I do not even wish to partake in anymore or ever again.
