Set up account for unlimited minutes plus one time connection fee, plus same day connection fee, plus one hour guaranteed connection fee. Was assured they provided service for facility where inmate was being held. Received a call was provided with a local number inmate was to call that supposedly was linked to my number. I asked if I had to provide inmate with funds to dial out was told no. Later that day received a email from the service that provides calling for the facility. Went in and filled out form and applied funds for inmate. Inmate called that evening. Call would not go through. Ended up calling jail. They gave me direct number to phone service because I got no option to reach a person at Jail Call. After calling number the jail provided found out that in fact Jail Call was NOT affiliated with the facilities phone service. They had in fact submitted the local number and it was on file with the accredited company. When I explained the entire thing they told me what they are doing is in face ILLEGAL their service is in no way allowed to transfer calls to a third party number. I did then immediately call my debit card and report them and they closed my card immediately as the charge was still on hold. They are waiting for the charge to be put through then they are going to jump on them and do a full out investigation and text me to write a letter explaining everything that I just wrote here. I'm taking them DOWN!
