Like the other complainants said, major scammer. Embarrassed that I fell for this, after he asked me to pay outside of eLance as well, so there would be no recourse, really dumb.
He consulted with us twice, then after the money went through, disappeared with a lie about a death in the family so we wouldn't seek him out for a few weeks. After that, no more responses from him. He did seem to have an address listed in San Diego, and I can still send someone there, I have a feeling it's a false address though.

- Oh right - like another complainant said, he has references that either he actually worked for, or are lying.
