I was on click and cash applying for a loan and was contacted via cell phone by this so called loan agency called NetPDL. They told me to go on their website to fill out application. I set up log in account, filled out application which included all of my personal and bank account information. To verify that I would be able to pay back this loan of $2,500.00 I was asked to withdraw $370.00 from my bank account and purchase a money pack for my green dot Visa card. I was on the phone the entire time with representative coaching me step by step exactly what to do. I was told to go to Walgreens to purchase money pack and even when I said I would rather not use this ATM machine because it charges me a $3.00 fee and only let's me pull out $200.00 at a time so I was charged twice for the fee,he assured me that I would be fully reimbursed for my $358.00 (because that was all the money I had) plus the $6.00 transaction fee along with my $2,500.00 loan. I was told they would stay on the line for 30 minutes until it went through and then the money would all be in my account. After 30 minutes I asked what was going on and he told me I used the money for something else. How is that even possible when I have been on the phone with them the entire time and gave him the confirmation number immediately after I purchased it. He tried to then get me to go do it again and pull another $370.00 out of my account which I didn't even have. I started getting upset and wanted to know where my money was. He then started to call me a liar and saying "you think you are smarter than me"? At that point I felt like the dumbest person alive for falling for this scam. I was just in need of some extra money because my paycheck was short due to the holiday plus I was going to be off the next week or two from my job not to mention my wife and I just had a new born baby and her car broke down and needed to be repaired. I just did not want to get utilities shut off or too far behind in paying my bills and did not know what else to do. The person even said "f*#k you" and hung up on me. I could not believe it. I was completely scammed out of my very hard earned money at probably the worst possible time.
