In Sept 2011, I answered an email for a $2000 loan. Throughout 2011 and 2012, through May 2013, a Nanda Kumar had been asking me for money for a variety of reasons. I have several documents he sent me to prove I would get the money. He had a way of enticing me to continue sending money for a variety of reasons. I believed him because I thought the laws were different in India, and he was very convincing. He wanted to get to know me better to gain my trust. The idiot I am, I continued to send money because I trusted and believed him. The money was sent by Western Union and I have every receipt to prove the money had been sent. I did find it strange that the money was send to different people and never to him. I am shocked by my stupidity and I am embarrassed to say I sent a total $11,219.00. In June 2013, I cut off all communications with Mr. Kumar because I had to finally admit to myself that I had been scammed and that I’d never see my loan or my money again.
