I called the Charter tech support number on the website and somehow got connected to TECH HELP who they said there parent company was PC Mask. They told me that they could fix the problem with my cable box that I recently installed and to go to my computer. I did and they proceeded to talk me into letting them have access to my computer. Once they took over it was down hill. Everyone from that company is from India!!! After about an hour on the phone I decided to shut down my computer and hung up the call. First thing in the morning I called my bank and alerted them of what was happening. I then went to the bank and cancelled my debit card. I cant' believe how many scammers are out in this world. These people are real scum!!
