Back in march of 2014 I was looking for a Canon 60Da camera for astrophotography work. Closeout Digital was one of the sources that showed up on my search and they had a good price. I placed the order and a camera arrived about 2 weeks later. The problem was that is was the plain Canon 60D version, which was several hundred dollars less than what I paid and did not have the hydrogen-alpha modifications making it more suitable for my needs. I contacted customer service (a misnomer to be sure) and was given an RMA number (Return Material Authorization) I shipped the camera back the very next day insured for $1000. They received it 4 days later. A month passed and I had still not received the camera I originally order so I called again. Now the camera was on order from Japan and should be in in about a month. I month passed and I called back. This time the person had to put me on hold while they checked. I was on hold for over 4 hours without anyone picking up again. This proceeded every day for a week. I call.... they have to "go check" and I'm placed on eternal hold. This process continues to this date and it is now almost November. I am not sure if I have any legal recourse but I am highly pissed. At the VERY least they owe me the camera I ordered (which now costs $300 more than when I placed my order) and at the most owe me my money back PLUS interest at whatever the going credit card rate is. DO NOT do business with this bunch of crooks!!!
