In April 2015, I purchased products online from BioTrim. A day later, I felt very uncomfortable because there was no “dollar amount purchased” on their email confirmation and I was unable to tell how much they charged me. So I called them to cancel all my orders. I was offered a refund of 50% because they claimed the products have already been shipped. I accepted their offer and received 50% refund.
Then in June 2015, I realized there was a new charge of USD 75 and other charge of HKD 75 charge on my HSBC credit card from BioTrim. I called to clarify the charges and they said it was a mistake and promised a refund. I waited till for a couple of weeks but still did not see the refund. When I called BioTrim again, I was told a refund of USD75 was processed on 3 June and that I should check with the credit card company. HSBC credit card confirmed there has been no refund at all on my card. So I continued to wait till end of June and still no refund was received. I called and wrote BioTrim again providing them with my credit card online transactions showing no refund up till end of June. I then received another email again stating that they have refunded USD 75 and a refund code. I was again asked to contact my credit card company. However, HSBC told me this code has no meaning for them and advised me to ask for the name of BioTrim’s merchant bank and the confirmation of refund from the merchant bank. I called back BioTrim asking for the relevant information but was brushed off again by them.
I feel cheated by BioTrimLabs. How irresponsible / ethnical of BioTrim to not to have followed up for my refund or worst yet, lie about the refund which I am starting to suspect…
