I used Livecareer for a resume template over a year ago.The resulting resume was in a useless format that I had to completely rewrite on my own.

I cancelled my temporary account with them. I have recently discovered they have been charging me $39.80/month (But the charge dates vary by up to 2 weeks which is also very shady) despite that. I have not once received an email, or statement stating that I am being billed, or that my account would continue after the one-year anniversary, etc. I am out close to $800 because of their sneakiness.

These guys get away with it due to hiding these charges in very small print but on the main web page, tell a different story to get you locked-in.

I spoke with someone at the company who refused to refund anything other than the most recent charge which hadn't shown up in my account yet. An email that I sent to customer service went unanswered. I had to deactivate my card to avoid any further charges from this dishonest company and need to wait 10 days to receive a new one.
