On Feburary 28 20012, my husband went to Walmart and put 115.00 dollars on our walmart debit visa card. Within half an hour we tried to pay our electric bill over the phone and was told we only had 70.00 total on our card that we just put 115.00 on. We immediately called walmart and they said we had to call the visa card company, which we did and of course it was someone with a heavy accent that was hard to underatand. He informed us that our 46.00 was used by peacock interior design in Brownsburg Idaho , zip code 83873. Needless to say that doesn,t exist. They refuse to give us back our money , said we needed to find out who it was and said they couldn,t stop payment on the transaction, but yet its supposedly pending untill march 10th which is bull. They have totally ripped us off and their only solution , after 3 phone calls later and insisting on talking to a supervisor was to cancel our cards and were supposed to call them back. They even said they didn,t have any way of finding out who took the money. By the way after giving us the phony information as to the name of peacock design interiors , they said it was a hotel, does that even make sense?? I believe its their company along with walmart ripping us off cause they know most people can,t hire legal help over a 46 .00 rip off, so Iguess it`s just our problem if our lights get shut off, while they profit off of us. Ridiculouse. I will NEVER trust Walmart or anyone they do business with EVER AGAIN.It`s sickening that we can,t do anything about this.
