I was referred to ETourandTravel from a forum online. I called to get more information and they sugar-coated the entire thing. I was told it was $149 And I would receive 4 nights in Orlando and 3 nights in Daytona. I was told there would be an hour presentation at each location, as well as $100 in airbucks and $150 in park vouchers. I was told by the representative, Martin Davidson, that I could add $100 to that price and get unlimited mile car rental for the week. Then he said that I could extend my trip for another $100 and I would get double of everything.
I told them to send me the package of info and I would think about it and he ended up pressuring me into giving my credit card information. He said the charge would happen right away, but I had 14 days from the day I RECEIVED the package to get a full refund. I called a few weeks later wondering where the package was and they said it was still on it's way as it takes a while for things to get from Florida to Alberta.
In November I called again to check on the package and they said the wrong address had been taken from me and that they now fixed it and would send the package. When I had given them my information they confirmed my address with me several times, and would need it to make a credit card charge anyways.
At the beginning of December I still had not received anything so I told them to just refund my money since I was sick of babysitting. As it turns out they recorded my address wrong AGAIN. And that is why my package wasn't received AGAIN.
At this point my flight was getting much closer so I just asked if I could book the hotel without the package and they said yes, because they require 30 days notice and I was running out of time. They then told me that when I paid for the double length of stay the rep failed to mention that the extra week could not be used along with the original purchased week. Why would I get it if I couldn't use it together?! I'm from Canada.
I have submitted 9 complaints (and counting) through their site etourandtravelcomplaints.com
I have received no response about any complaints, so I turned to their facebook page for help. My unhappy post was deleted right away. When I posted again pointing out that they had deleted my unhappy post and I was even more unhappy, they removed me from their page and I am now unable to post or comment.
I have left messages for managers to call me back at their customer service line but nobody will.
I am 26 days away from my flight and I can now no longer book the hotel.
I am appalled with my experience and I would stay far away from them in the future.
