Kim called me. We chatted about the timeshare. She said wanted to use my timeshare getaway weeks and could also help get a refund from another company I had tried. She transferred me to someone more knowledgible about the refunds, Valerie Brooks. Valerie had me fill out a refund request form - nothing has ever come of that, but no money loss to this company over that either. Anyway, back to the fraud. Valerie said, "I only work with getaway weeks, not your deeded week." Said she could use either 5 or 10 (I picked 10) of my getaway weeks for the Daytona. I had to pay the $249 activation for those weeks (got a $100 discount since all ten), but would be paid $1,050 for each week by the corporation who she booked it for. Supposed to get deposit in 21 days and balance in 30 days. The 21 days have gone. WWV Media has stopped returning calls. Now, a new company is calling. They say WWV Media referred them to me. They say that they only work with deeded weeks. Everything they said has been a lie. I have since tracked this company back and they are not a NH based company. They are really a FL one and apparently this is a shell company. The real one is A 1 Marketing Unlimited, Inc. At least I think that's the real one. The phone numbers at WWV Media gave me are the same ones as on the A 1 site.
