Jim Martin contacted me on the 10th saying he was Windows and they were a company that Windows used like a sub-contractor or whatever. They had gotten information that my computer had been compromised and hacked. He told me to look at various files so I would be convinced that he was correct.

He said for $299 he could repair my laptop and every computer I had for a lifetime and I said I didn't have $299 and then he offered me a $99 discount.I declined and said I didn't know him, his company.

We hung up and the next day when I cut my laptop on all of my software had disappeared and most all of my files, including some of the system software files like control panel, etc.

It is hard for to believe it was just a coincindence.

I took my laptop to Red's Computer repair who I have used in the past and trust. He had never seen such anything like it and the charge was $169.00.

Thank you for any possible assistance.
